Incidental solitary spine lesion seen on a cervical spine ct performed for trauma, January/February 2011
A 33 year old female presented with altered mental status and neck pain after losing consciousness while driving and suffering a low speed motor vehicle collision. Her medical history was significant for type 2 diabetes and morbid obesity. She underwent a head CT (not shown) and a cervical spine CT (Figure 1). Due to persistent neck pain, she underwent a cervical spine MRI.
