Sending Previous Studies
If you have prior medical imaging studies to send to VCU Radiology, you can do so in two different ways. You may:
- Send via CD with the patient or by mail. Please use our External Consult Request form [PDF] to send along with the CD.
- Send the studies electronically by utilizing eMix, a vendor-neutral software client that allows medical imaging studies to be sent as easily as sending an email. If you are currently utilizing eMix, please use our eMix Request Form. If you do not currently use eMix but are interested in sending medical images to VCU electronically and for free, please contact Geoff Chestnut by email or by calling (804) 828-4177.
