Women's Imaging Fellowship

We offer a one-year fellowship focused on the imaging of women-related diseases. The fellow spends approximately six months in breast imaging (breast magnetic resonance, ultrasound, mammography, and biopsy) and six months in abdominal imaging (computed tomography, magnetic resonance and ultrasound).

There is a large volume and a diverse spectrum of diseases related to women seen at the institution with strong clinical departments, including Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN), GYN oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, surgery, internal medicine and pathology. There is a National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated cancer center, Massey Cancer Center featuring a breast health group dedicated to integrated and expedited care of breast cancer patients. There is also a women’s health group focused on women’s health issues of all kinds. There are state-of-the-art computed tomography and magnetic resonance scanners at multiple clinical sites, and a large number of abdominal computed tomography and magnetic resonance exams are performed daily.
