Residency and Fellowship Programs

The VCU Department of Radiology is dedicated to developing advanced residency and fellowship programs to train the next generation of radiologists.

As part of the residency program, students have the opportunity to work with patients at VCU Medical Center – one of the country’s largest and most sophisticated medical university complexes – and the Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center, one of the VA’s flagship hospitals.

Our department also sponsors eight to ten fellowships each year in a number of subspecialties, including MR, abdominal imaging, breast imaging, chest and noninvasive cardiovascular imaging, interventional radiology, musculoskeletal radiology, and neuroradiology.
