Training includes experience with all facets of abdominal and pelvic computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, magnetic resonance (MR) imaging and gastrointestinal and genitourinary radiology. We have state-of-the-art imaging capabilities at multiple clinical sites. Fellows will learn all advanced aspects of abdominal and pelvic imaging including:
- CT including CTA, CTU, CT enterography and CT colonography
- MR including MRA, MRCP, MRU, MR enterography, MR elastography, advanced and quantitative liver MRI, specialized transplant MRI, rectal MRI, gynecological MRI, prostate MR and intervention
- Ultrasound including all abdominal and pelvic applications, specialized transplant ultrasound and contrast-enhanced ultrasound.
- GI / GU fluoroscopy including advanced postoperative and bariatric imaging
- Fellows may also participate in nonvascular interventions such as biopsy and drainage using CT and ultrasound guidance.
Fellows will participate in teaching activities and conferences, tumor boards and abdominal imaging section conferences. The fellow may choose to participate in multiple ongoing research activities. A range of teaching files in CT, MR, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and ultrasound are available for the fellow’s use.
