Clinical Trials

The VCU Department of Radiology research portfolio extends from basic research to clinical trials. Radiology faculty members conduct research in a wide variety of clinical areas, including cancer treatment and diagnosis, cardiovascular disease, women’s health, trauma and obesity.

The VCU Department of Radiology is excited to collaborate with different departments on patient diagnosis and treatment by providing ancillary services for research projects. From chest radiographs to bone scans, from computed tomography (CT) to single-photon emission computerized tomography (SPECT) scanning and everything in between, we are here to provide needed services.
