Hybrid Fellowship
The VCU Department of Radiology offers a one-year Hybrid Fellowship, to better prepare the fellow for specific enhanced experiences in certain areas in which the fellow may feel the need for increased experience, usually prior to entering the private practice setting. The experience allows the fellow to tailor the year to their specific needs within a limited framework. This fellowship offers an increased degree of flexibility such that the fellow may choose to spend extra time in rotations which are felt to be most beneficial to them in upcoming job opportunities. The fellowship offers more in-depth experience (1-3 months) in up to six rotations out of a selection of nine specialized areas. The nine areas include Abdominal Imaging, Emergency Radiology, MSK, Pediatric Radiology, Neuroradiology, Breast Imaging, Thoracic and/or Cardiac Imaging, and Non-Vascular Interventions.
