Neuroradiology Fellowship
Our neuroradiology fellowship at the VCU Health System is a one-year, ACGME-accredited, diagnostic neuroradiology fellowship. The neuroradiology division at VCU is staffed by eight fellowship-trained neuroradiologists and two additional pediatric neuroradiology fellowship-trained radiologists who contribute to the education of our fellows during their dedicated pediatric neuroradiology rotations. Neuroradiology fellows will receive training in the full spectrum of neuroradiology topics and modalities, including advanced imaging techniques. We aim to train radiologists who are well-prepared to enter practice as both clinical and academic radiologists.

Neuroradiology Fellowship
- Our fellowship includes dedicated rotations in general neuroradiology, head and neck, neuro oncology, spine imaging, vascular imaging, and pediatric neuroradiology.
- Active practices in neurosurgery, otolaryngology, neurology/neuroimmunology, and neuro oncology provide a solid referral base generating imaging cases spanning the full breadth of disease processes impacting the head, neck, brain, and spine.
- Attending multidisciplinary meetings like neurooncology, neurovascular, neuroimmunology, and epilepsy provides neuroradiology fellows with invaluable clinical exposure.
- By engaging with specialists from various fields, fellows can gain deeper insights into the clinical context of their radiological interpretations, sharpen their diagnostic acumen, and contribute meaningfully to patient care discussions.
