Emergency Radiology Fellowship
Our one-year fellowship in Emergency Radiology (ER) focuses on the full range of imaging in an emergency department setting. The fellowship includes imaging of trauma patients and those with medical and non-traumatic surgical conditions. In addition to time in the emergency radiology department, the fellow will spend time in neuroradiology, abdominal imaging and cardiothoracic imaging to focus on interpretation and management of ER-related conditions. The fellow will learn the full range of findings in ER patients on computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, conventional imaging and, where appropriate, magnetic resonance (MR) findings. Fellows are under the supervision of our dedicated emergency radiology attendings in a busy, urban emergency room at a large academic tertiary care medical center which is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a designated Stroke Center.
