Message from Department Chair

Dear Friends,

Friends, together we are making a difference at the VCU Health System and within our community as noted in our summer newsletter which wraps up our recent faculty news and important education news. I sincerely hope you enjoy our recent successes and achievements! However, before you read on I would like to invite you to receive a hard copy of the VCU Department of Radiology 2022 Impact Report that we will send later this year.

Our Department of Radiology plays an invaluable role in healthcare, and our 2022 Impact Report will showcase our lifesaving innovations and research, our excellence in patient care, and the immense success of our educational programs.

Within the pages, we explore the relationships we build in Radiology but also throughout the VCU Health System. There is no underestimating the power of our alumni and supporters, as our success is built on your legacy.

Be well,

~ Ann S. Fulcher, M.D., FACR, FSAR

Our radiologists aimed to review normal temporomandibular joint (TMJ) anatomy and function, most common temporomandibular disorders (TMD), and their imaging presentations. TMJ plays a crucial role in mastication, jaw mobility, verbal, and emotional expression.
