Welcome Three New Fellows

We are pleased to introduce our new fellows. Hassan Elzein, D.O. and Asem Rahman, M.D. completed their VCU Radiology Residency Program and returned for their Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowships. Garrett Pfau, D.O. joins us for a Women’s Imaging Fellowship. Dr. Pfau earned his D.O. from the Touro University-Nevada School of Osteopathic Medicine and he completed his diagnostic radiology residency at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center

VCU Medical Student With Interest in Radiology Makes Winning Presentation

Radiology Research Presentation Wins Bronze Medal at 2023 ARRS Annual Meeting

Tyler Cook, M.S., a VCU medical student with interest in radiology research, received a bronze medal for her presentation of, "Lung Cancer Screening CT: Impact of Age at which Screenees Began Smoking and/or Experienced Secondhand Smoke or Parental Smoke Exposure on Coronary Artery Calcification (CAC) Scores and Left Main Coronary Artery Involvement” in the Emerging Research Session (ERS) at the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) 2023 annual meeting in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Emerging Research Session featured a competitive field of 29 medical students, residents and fellows from institutions throughout the U.S. and internationally.
