Dear Friends,

We have all been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Cancellations and postponements are a disappointment, and many are frustrated with changes in lifestyle and work environments. However, your safety and health come first, and I would like to share a few specific thoughts with you:

• The VCU Department of Radiology is following the guidance of the Center for Disease Control to safeguard our patients and staff. We are taking exceptional, proactive steps to implement additional safety measures to best prevent the spread of COVID-19.
• We are a cohesive and supportive team confident in our ongoing efforts to provide valuable radiological services.
• We have the facilities, technology and extraordinary talent to meet the urgent health care needs.
• We are finding inspiration in the courage and perseverance demonstrated by our health care team members. We are 100% ready, without hesitation and in any capacity needed, to serve our community.

Most important, thank you for making our department a vital resource for Virginia. Because of our friends and supporters, we are epitomizing our Image of Excellence mantra...we are flexible...and compassionate leaders in radiology. This crisis will end and we will be here – thank you!
