SUMMARY
Mr. Wargo received his M.S. in Medical Physics from Duke University in 2012. He performed research and completed his thesis on PET imaging focused on coincidence timing calibration for time-of-flight PET. Upon graduation, he started working for Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA (2012-2018). During his time there, he updated and expanded testing procedures for multiple imaging modalities to improve the existing quality assurance programs in place. Mr. Wargo holds Board Certification from the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Medical Physics. His research interests include CT protocol optimization, PET instrumentation, quality assurance in digital radiography, and software development for image quality analysis for multiple imaging modalities.
